This store is considered the foundation for the development of a sandwich shop chain in the long-term strategy in Vietnam. "We expect to open 25 stores within the next five years," he said.


In the first time, Subway will use some imported ingredients and food, but in the long run, the group may order production in Vietnam. The investor will keep the original menu and will make specific adjustments in terms of processing to suit the taste of local customers.


After the survey, Mr. DeLuca said that Vietnam is a potential market for the fast food industry, and the franchise market here is also in the early stages of development. Self-assessment has the competitive advantage of providing rations with food, fresh ingredients, and lots of vegetables, he hopes Subway will meet the needs of customers in Vietnam.


The co-founder of this fast food group said that the specific selling price per serving in Vietnam has not been determined yet. Meanwhile, in China, a market where Subway has opened nearly 150 stores, each sandwich is priced at nearly three US dollars.


Subway's dishes are available in 91 countries around the world. The group, which owns more than 32,000 stores, had global sales of about $13.8 billion last year.
